Neighbourhood Snapshot

The Distillery District might be most well-known for its annual Christmas Market–but it’s much more than shiny lights and festive booths once a year. The Distillery District real estate dodged the city’s obsession with knocking down all of our old buildings in the ‘60s and now stands as one of the most charming corners of the city. The Distillery District real estate is still developing, so the area is bound to only get better. Streetcar and bus access is pretty simple, and grocery spots are walkable from most of the Distillery District real estate.

What Makes It Cool

Old stuff. Fancy stuff. Pretty stuff. Unique stuff–the Distillery District is the place you go to just look at stuff. Sure, the area is a tourist trap, but it’s also home to some amazing festivals and still the top spot for a romantic date night.

Might Not Be For You If...

You’re buying with a family. Since kids tend to prefer grass and playgrounds to cobblestone and industrial design, the Distillery District real estate isn’t exactly family-focused.

Meet Your Neighbours

The local crowd is mature, but the decent price points of some Distillery District real estate draws a broad population.

Highlights

El Catrin has one of the best patios in Toronto, romantic décor, and a Mexican-based menu. Even if you went and had bad service and hated the meal…you would still enjoy this place.

Mill Street Pub for pub food with an urban twist. They have tasting flights, fresh beer, and a massive brewery in the middle of your eating space.
