AKA: North of the Bluffs, South of Scarborough Junction.
Neighbourhood Snapshot
Essentially a small village sewn onto the end of Danforth, this neighbourhood was established by a population of people predominantly from the British Isle–which you can feel in the layout of the Cliffside real estate. The main artery, Kingston Road from Danforth to Midland, is lined with a mix of mom and pop shops as well as the big brand shops that make life easier. There are several bus lines running to Kennedy and Victoria Park station, as well as the Scarborough Go Train Station.
What Makes It Cool
The Scarborough Bluffs are a huge draw–mostly for their “Seriously? That’s in Toronto?” factor. But beyond that, Cliffside real estate is a haven for those who want green spaces and hiking trails but still want to be able to walk to a local pub and have their kids within walking distance to school.
Might Not Be For You If...
You’re commuting on the TTC to the west end every day. Once you’re out of Cliffside village, the bus routes are a bit longer, so having your own set of wheels is advised.
Meet Your Neighbours
Cliffside real estate is perfect for families. Loads of greenspace and quick access to the bluffs and beach can be very helpful when trying to keep a toddler busy. The condos being built in Cliffside Village are sure to attract young families as well as first-time buyers, so prepare for a younger demographic to emerge.

Highlights
The Tara Inn might be Scarborough's most famous pub with its Irish food, dark wood walls, and live music. Always busy and known for its killer wings, the Tara is an enduring part of Cliffside life.
Meet The Tara’s cooler younger brother, The Victorian Monkey. With 18 beers on tap–including many craft brews–a meaty wine list, a 12ft shuffle board and loads of other games, this spot is primed and waiting for the younger condo crowd.
Augustine's Seminary. This may sound odd, but this seminary perched on the edge of the bluffs is an amazing spot for a spring hike. Built in 1913, this Kingston Road Seminary is on every "must see" list for nerds and architecture buffs in Toronto. Its iconic copper dome is the work of famous architect Arthur W. Holmes who designed numerous buildings in Toronto, such as St. Patrick's Church, Holy Name Church, as well as St. Michael's College, part of the University of Toronto.
